Spur and helical gear designs for low noise and maximum efficiency

It can be shown that the same principles used for designing high pressure angle spur gears for improved efficiency, increased bending and surface capacity could be applied to helical gears for electric vehicle gearboxes (EV applications) reducing power losses and improving transmission error (noise).
